一．Design the mould
Before the general assembly drawing for the mould, the schedule drawing should be made out first, which is in line with the requirements of the mould parts drawing and craft material.For the size guaranteed by the next process, the word "process dimension" should be marked on the drawing.If there is no need for other mechanical processing after forming except for burr repairing, the schedule drawing is exactly the same as the mould parts drawing.
Under the schedule drawing, the number, name, material, material shrinkage, drawing ratio and so on are best marked. Usually the schedule drawing is on the general assembly drawing.
The assembly drawings as far as possible using a 1:1 ratio column, first from the cavity began to draw, the main view is drawn along with other views.
The assembly drawings shall include the following contents:
Mould forming parts structure
The structure of the gating system and the exhaust system
Outline structure and location of all connectors, positioning and guide parts.
Marking mould cavity size (not forced, according to demand) and mould overall size.
Auxiliary tools (removing tools, correcting tools, etc.).
Marking technical requirements and instructions.
二．Mould testing and repairing
Although the moulding design is carried out under the anticipated technological conditions, using the predefined forming materials and equipment, people's understanding is often imperfect.
Therefore, it is necessary to carry out mould testing after the mould processing is completed, to see how the quality of the formed parts is, and to repair mould after discovering the errors.
If the mould is not used for the time being after testing, it should be completely erased, such as debris, dust, grease, and coated with butter or other rust-proof oil or rust-proof agent.
